We want to execute a conveyance deed for a property in mumbai. The CTS number of the concerned property is not mentioned in the ready reckoner rates. Please advise how shall we calculate stamp duty. We have all other documets such as PR card and DP remarks.

Check with the Collector office at Old Custom House if property is between Fort - Mahim or go to collector office at Bandra if property is beyond bandra. They will be able to give you your CTS number. Take the PR card and DP remark. By the way if you are doing a conveyance, you will have to get it adjudicated and from that the Stamp Office will inform you about the likely stamp duty payable.
